- Ignores common generated or non-content files by default, including hidden files, WordPress thumbnails, scaled images, optimized .webp derivatives, and retina thumbnails.
- Provides a rescan workflow so newly added files can be detected without redoing the entire process.
- Can use embedded metadata for imported images and PDFs instead of relying only on the filename.
- Includes debugging and dry-run safeguards to help inspect import behavior before committing files.
