Formatting changes and cache reuse
A visually similar block is not always an identical source.
Formatting, surrounding structure, builder output, metadata, or invisible source changes may affect whether cached content can be reused. Cloud Assist does not assume that every similar-looking string is interchangeable.
Unchanged source
Provides the strongest opportunity for reuse when compatible cached translation data exists.
Changed source
May require fresh translation even when most of the visible wording still looks familiar.
Cache reuse does not guarantee zero token usage.
Cache misses, changed content, contextual processing, unsupported fields, and new translation requests may still use tokens.
Cloud Assist and privacy
Local BYOK and Cloud Assist remain separate.
Cloud Assist is an optional mode for supported server-assisted workflows and cache reuse. It is not silently enabled and requires the relevant mode and consent settings.

- Review translated pages after structural or formatting changes.
