- Manual order dispatch workflow: provides an Orders screen where an authorized user can explicitly send an order to the selected courier (no automatic dispatch).
- Connection and status operations are user-triggered: remote calls occur only when an authorized user tests the connection, sends an order, or refreshes remote order status.
- Courier credential handling: credentials are configured in plugin settings and saved secrets are not displayed again after saving.
- Remote order metadata persistence: stores remote courier order ID, selected courier, status, dispatch time, and last error on the ecommerce order; this metadata is retained even if the plugin is uninstalled.
- COD amount mapping behavior: paid orders are sent with a zero COD amount; unpaid orders are sent with the order total as the COD amount.
- Direct courier connectivity without CodifyCore data transfer: connects directly to the selected courier service; no order data is sent to CodifyCore.
