Plugin capabilities

• Guided setup wizard for GA4, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads conversion IDs (paste Measurement ID / Pixel ID / Conversion ID).
• Conflict protection that scans active plugins and the homepage for existing GA4/Meta Pixel/Google Ads/GTM code and can pause only the affected platform to prevent double-firing; supports an audit-only mode.
• Frontend tracking script injection for selected platforms: loads Google gtag.js (via googletagmanager.com) and sends page-view plus shop events (view_item, add_to_cart, begin_checkout, purchase) with event parameters; loads Meta fbevents.js (via connect.facebook.net) and sends PageView plus shop events (ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase) with event parameters; includes a fallback Meta tracking image request when JavaScript is disabled.
• Consent gating and consent-mode behavior: prints a Google Consent Mode v2 default block before any Google tag; includes a Meta Pixel consent gate that keeps the pixel muted until marketing consent is reported by the site’s consent banner; supports a “Consent Mode default” override for unrecognized banners.
• Staging/local environment detection to prevent event firing on staging-like URLs (e.g., localhost, .test, .local, or containing “staging”).
• Purchase event timing, deduplication, and retry: purchase fires on the order received (thank-you) page; missed purchases retry on the customer’s next visit to the thank-you page within 7 days and are deduplicated so nothing is counted twice; refunded/cancelled orders are excluded from the orders-vs-events comparison.
• Verification tooling that checks that tracking scripts load and that browser network requests actually leave the page, with links to GA4 DebugView and Meta Test Events for event arrival confirmation.
