- Typed, ordered post-to-post relations (relation types can be named and ordered via dragging).
- Block editor UI: a Content Relations panel in the document sidebar edits a post’s relations grouped by type and saved with the post (no separate save button).
- Classic editor UI: relations are edited in a meta box (same editor concept as the block editor).
- Front-end display via a Related content block (a Query Loop variation) that lists related posts for a selected relation type in the configured order and supports Query Loop layout options.
- REST API exposure of relations via a content_relations field, with unpublished/draft/private relations hidden from users who cannot edit posts.
- PHP helper function content_relations_get_relations_by_post_id( $post_id ) to retrieve the same relations data as in the REST response.
- WP_Query extension to filter queries by relation (filter by related post ID and optionally relation type to return posts related to it).
- Admin tooling: Tools → Content Relations provides a sortable/searchable table of relation types, enabling reordering/removal of relations across posts using that type.
