Installation & Activation

For New Customers

Purchase your license: reeid.com/pricing
Download the plugin from your REEID dashboard
Upload to your WordPress site (/wp-content/plugins/reeid-translation-pro)
Activate via WordPress Admin → Plugins

For Upgrades

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload
Install the latest .zip from your account
Activate and enter your license key under Settings → REEID Translate

Initial Configuration

1. General Settings

Go to Settings → REEID Translate and configure:

OpenAI API Key – Required for all translation features (create at OpenAI)
License Key – Unlocks PRO features
Tone/Style – Select up to 2 brand tones (e.g., Formal, Technical, Friendly)
Default Source Language – Set your website’s primary language (e.g., en)
Custom Instructions – Optional translation rules for style/brand
Bulk Translation Languages – Select default target languages for bulk actions

2. Translation Process

In the post/page editor, find the REEID Translation meta box (sidebar)
Select a target language
Optionally set tone or custom prompt
Choose Publish or Draft mode
Click Translate for single language, or Bulk Translate for all enabled languages

Troubleshooting

SEO tags missing: Ensure all translations are linked via the metabox and translation maps are updated.
