- Loads JSON data from an HTTP API URL and displays values on the WordPress site without requiring a full page reload.
- Supports multiple independent “slots,” where each slot can be configured with its own API URL, JSON path, and refresh interval.
- Auto-refreshes slot values on a configurable interval (refresh interval is clamped to a minimum of 500 ms).
- For slots with refresh interval ≥ 10 seconds, performs a server-side initial value pre-render and caching so visitors see data immediately.
- Provides an optional server-side proxy mode to fetch external/cross-origin JSON URLs from the server (bypassing browser CORS restrictions), with two proxy methods: admin-ajax and a REST API proxy endpoint.
- Allows dynamic substitution of the current page’s GET parameters into the API URL using `#GET_key#` placeholders.
- Pauses polling when the browser tab is hidden and resumes immediately when it becomes visible again (page-visibility aware).
- Can expose slot values via the plugin’s own REST API endpoints under the `araa/v1/api/` namespace, with endpoints disabled by default and individually activatable in plugin settings.
