- Allows developers to mark specific template regions as editable using a template helper (`bindery_attrs()`) and to render declared fields/values in PHP via template tags (`bindery_field()` / `bindery_value()`).
- Includes an “auto mode” that can make existing page text editable automatically (as described in the plugin documentation).
- Stores editable content values in a dedicated database table (`wp_bindery_values`) rather than mixing overrides into post markup; code defaults are not stored.
