- Reads server-side PHP error logs (debug.log) and groups fatal errors/warnings/notices by the plugin that produced them, using a recent time window (last 7 days) and flagging high-error plugins as critical.
- Detects hook collisions by listing hooks where three or more plugins register callbacks at the same priority, while excluding common core lifecycle hooks from being treated as inherently critical.
- Provides a manual scan workflow in the admin area (Settings → Clashlens → Run Scan), with results stored in the site’s own database until the next scan.
- Does not perform automatic deactivation, modification, or repair of plugins; it only reports findings and leaves decisions to the site owner.
- Runs in an admin context and therefore does not detect front-end-only hook registrations for the hook-collision check; it also cannot see JavaScript errors that occur in the visitor’s browser.
