- Sends onboarding metadata to the Flowgration backend during Connect (e.g., site URL, administrator email, store name, WordPress/WooCommerce versions, aggregate counts, category names, and form names/field labels) and performs a one-time historical import using a generated WooCommerce REST API key pair.
- After Connect, transmits per-event payloads for ecommerce and site events to keep CRM data up to date (e.g., order.created/order.updated, customer.created/updated/deleted, cart.abandoned, product.*, subscription.*, booking.*, and form.submitted).
- Runs an hourly “heartbeat” to report plugin/backend health signals (e.g., plugin/WordPress/WooCommerce versions, queue depth, and last failure flag) without personal data.
- Uses a local event queue and asynchronous background processing for sync operations (including WooCommerce hooks), aiming to avoid blocking checkout/order processing.
- Provides a Settings area to pause specific data categories (events are held in the local queue while paused and resume when re-enabled).
- Supports a historical backfill option to import prior data (e.g., last 90 days, 12 months, or entire history) so the CRM is populated from day one.
