PLUGIN INFORMATION
What the plugin does
Plugin capabilities
- Adds a custom media-library field named “Gallery Tile Link URL” to store a per-image URL on the media item.
- When images are used in Elementor’s built-in Image Gallery (including Masonry layout), the widget links each tile to the stored per-image URL.
- Implements server-side output filtering (explicitly “no JS” and “server-side, no order hacks”) to generate the per-tile links.
- Applies behavior only when the Elementor Image Gallery widget has CSS class `gallink` (opt-in via CSS class).
- Disables the lightbox only for images within galleries marked with `gallink` that have a “Gallery Tile Link URL”; other images keep default behavior.
- Provides backward compatibility by reading older custom fields `gallink_url` and `portfolio_custom_url`, while new links are saved under `gtl_url`.
- Works with Elementor’s built-in Image Gallery widget and supports both “Masonry” and “Classic” layouts as stated in the plugin description.
