- Offers query control options including post count, excluding categories/post IDs, minimum shared-term overlap threshold, maximum post age filter, result rotation/shuffle, and fallback behavior (Recent/Popular/Random/None).
- Thumbnail/image handling includes native WordPress image sizes and an image discovery sequence (featured image → scan content → attachment → configurable default placeholder).
- Implements caching via transient-based query cache with configurable TTL (default 12 hours), optional use of WordPress Object Cache when available, and a WP-CLI command to flush cache (wp igit-rpwt flush-cache).
