- Uses gallery captions as human-readable labels in the selector when available; otherwise falls back to a numbered label with image count.
- Appends standalone images after the regular gallery images in the native lightbox navigation order.
- Does not replace core Image or Gallery blocks; it extends them and relies on the native WordPress lightbox overlay/navigation behavior.
