- Privacy/consent controls and data transmission gating: data processing consent is required to authorize sending product data and search queries; consents are recorded with UTC timestamps and can be withdrawn via a “Disconnect” action that deletes the API key and stops data transmission.
- Cart interaction constraints for the assistant: the assistant can add/update/remove cart lines only in response to an explicit shopper request or confirmed proposal; it does not place orders or take payments, and assistant features can be disabled to keep only fast search.
