- Chat conversations are exchanged with Ovebot.ai, and the widget uses two first-party cookies containing a random visitor/session identifier.
- On WooCommerce order-received pages, the browser loads an additional externally hosted event script that reports order number, total, and currency to Ovebot.ai (with no line items or customer contact details sent in that event).
- The plugin connects the WordPress site to an Ovebot.ai account via OAuth 2.0 (PKCE), including an authorization step and periodic token refreshes; it states no visitor/store data is sent to the account host.
- Admin-side configuration/knowledge-base sync sends widget configuration and selected knowledge-base page content (title, plain-text content, permalink) to an Ovebot.ai API, and it can also send WooCommerce-related feed URL and order-lookup endpoint credentials when WooCommerce is active.
- For WooCommerce stores, Ovebot.ai retrieves a protected product catalog via a REST endpoint on the site (`/wp-json/ovebotai/v1/feed`) and retrieves order status via a protected REST endpoint (`/wp-json/ovebotai/v1/orders`) that requires Basic credentials and verifies ownership using email or phone provided by the customer.
- Ovebot.ai can generate courier tracking links in chat by using an AWB/tracking number already stored by a supported shipping plugin; it does not directly connect to couriers and only returns a public tracking URL.
