PLUGIN INFORMATION
What the plugin does
Plugin capabilities
- Media Library one-click and bulk image processing actions (hover actions and bulk actions) that create new attachments by default.
- WooCommerce product image bulk processing that targets both featured and gallery images for the selected products.
- Attachment-details UI that indicates which images were processed.
- Processing results are saved as new images by default (originals untouched), with an optional “replace originals” mode that keeps a backup and supports restoring originals via Media Library row actions.
- Background removal outputs transparent PNG results.
- Plugin sends images to the PixelPanda API only when an operation is run (no automatic sending), transmitting the image (public URL or image data), an API key, and the site URL in the User-Agent header; processed images are downloaded back into the Media Library.
- In replace mode, the plugin keeps an untouched original copy in `uploads/pixelpanda-ai-image-tools/` and tracks the backup via attachment meta for later restore; on uninstall, options/meta are removed and the folder is deleted when it no longer holds originals.
TRANSLATION BOUNDARY
