What the plugin does
Plugin capabilities
- Controls search-facing metadata with sitewide defaults and per-page overrides for meta titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, robots meta, and schema type.
- Outputs social preview tags (Open Graph and Twitter) and supports social preview images when it owns the front-end SEO output.
- Filters WordPress native XML sitemap output to exclude content that should not be discoverable (e.g., noindex URLs) without replacing WordPress sitemap rendering.
- Generates conservative JSON-LD structured data including support for WebPage-style page types, Article variants, FAQPage, Service, Product, WebSite, and Organization/LocalBusiness identity.
- Provides WooCommerce product SEO via the normal Quiet SEO search appearance and page SEO paths, including using WooCommerce product data for product schema and product images for social previews.
- Publishes an optional plain-text /llms.txt file at the site root, with an automatic mode that derives content from eligible public content and existing SEO decisions and a custom mode that serves operator-authored saved text.
- Includes an authenticated Page SEO REST API that allows authorized tools to read saved page SEO overrides and perform guarded patch or replacement writes using current ETag and WordPress edit permissions.
TRANSLATION BOUNDARY
Quiet SEO capabilities and translatable content are documented separately.
Official documentation describes the plugin functionality, but does not currently identify specific text shown to visitors that can be translated.
A feature is not considered translatable unless it includes text that users can read.
