- Supports embedding via a Gutenberg “Samba” block (select widget type and experience) and via a `[samba_widget]` shortcode for classic themes/other builders.
- Requires a Samba account and a “workspace secret key” configured in WordPress under Settings → Samba; the plugin uses this key to validate and load widget configuration/experiences/booking data.
- Renders widget content “live” from the user’s Samba workspace, with widget types/options served from the Samba API (so new widget options appear automatically).
- Uses a server-side Samba API call flow when saving the key and when the block editor loads; the secret key is sent in an Authorization header to the Samba API and is not sent to the visitor’s browser.
- On the front end, loads a Samba embed script only on pages that contain a Samba widget, and widgets fetch public booking data (availability, departures, prices) identified by a public workspace slug.
- Security behavior: stores the secret key on the server and does not display it to visitors or add it to pages; only public information needed to display widgets reaches the browser.
- Front-end integration compatibility: can be used with the Gutenberg block editor, a native Elementor widget, and the `[samba_widget]` shortcode; it also “coexists with WooCommerce.”
