Plugin capabilities

• Live, admin-triggered front-end page translation with an admin-bar action (“Translate this page”) and an in-page editor for machine or manual translation of visible strings.
• Server-side rendering of saved translations into the HTML response, including hreflang alternates in the head (described as SEO-friendly, avoiding a flash of untranslated text).
• Language routing via URL language-path prefixes (e.g., /es/about) with a canonical source language at the un-prefixed URL; language resolution order includes path prefix, ?lang= query, saved cookie, browser Accept-Language, then source.
• Visitor language switching via a link-based switcher (bottom-right) with per-language /xx/ URLs; built-in switcher can be disabled and replaced with a theme-rendered switcher using sawir_lt_switcher_links().
• Optional site-wide string discovery and bulk translation workflow: “Scan site now” crawls published pages/posts/public archives to collect translatable strings, then “Edit all site strings” supports auto-translate or bulk edit/import/export as JSON.
• Auto-translate provider behavior: default uses the MyMemory translation API; the request is made from the administrator’s browser only when the admin clicks the auto-translate/translate action (not automatically for visitors).
• Native WordPress localization support for dates and installed core/theme/plugin translations by switching WordPress locale on translated requests; requires installing the relevant language pack for visible effect.
• Multisite support: multisite-aware with per-subsit e settings and translations tables created on network activation/new subsite creation and cleaned on uninstall.
