- Injects a chat widget onto the site immediately after saving the API key; widget appearance controls (color, position, bot name) are configurable in the WordPress admin settings.
- Sends visitor chat messages to Scout for AI response generation; visitor-provided lead fields (name/email/phone) are only sent if the visitor types/provides them in the chat.
- When WooCommerce is active, periodically syncs store/product data to Scout (product catalog; per-product sales summary over multiple windows; order totals; store name/site URL/currency/timezone; return-policy page content; shipping zone names; and the site administrator email) to support accurate AI answers.
- Supports image attachments in chat by uploading visitor-attached/pasted images to Scout so the AI can respond to them.
- Optionally supports WooCommerce order-status lookup: if WooCommerce API credentials (consumer key/secret) are entered in plugin settings, those credentials are sent to Scout and stored there; leaving them blank disables order lookup.
- Provides an inbox experience where agents can take over conversations in real time from the Scout dashboard; the widget updates to reflect live agent takeover.
