List supported content only after specific text shown to visitors has been identified and can be validated.

PLUGIN INFORMATION

What the plugin does

Plugin capabilities

  • Attaches an image thumbnail to taxonomy terms, with UI available on term creation and on the term edit page.
  • Provides template tags to manage term thumbnails: get_term_thumbnail_id(), has_term_thumbnail(), the_term_thumbnail(), get_term_thumbnail(), set_term_thumbnail(), and delete_term_thumbnail().
  • Uses the WordPress “new media window” (since WP 3.5) for selecting/setting thumbnails, and can function with or without JavaScript (AJAX used when JS is enabled).
  • Stores thumbnail IDs using the term metas API from WordPress 4.4 onward; for WP < 4.4 it supports either term metas via the “Meta for Taxonomies” plugin or an option mapping term_taxonomy_id to thumbnail_id (option name configurable via SFTTH_OPTION_NAME).
  • Supports retrieving terms with thumbnails via get_terms() using a 'with_thumbnail' => true parameter, and provides a helper sftth_meta_query() for building meta_query usage from WordPress 4.4 onward.
  • Allows filtering which taxonomies display the thumbnail UI via the sftth_taxonomies filter (example shows unsetting post_tag and adding a custom taxonomy).
  • On uninstall, can optionally keep stored thumbnail data by defining SFTTH_KEEP_DATA in wp-config.php.

TRANSLATION BOUNDARY

Taxonomy Thumbnail capabilities and translatable content are documented separately.

Official documentation describes the plugin functionality, but does not currently identify specific text shown to visitors that can be translated.

A feature is not considered translatable unless it includes text that users can read.
