  • Configurable language switcher placement and appearance with separate desktop/mobile layouts: TranslateSimple provides a “Language switcher” admin area to choose placement, language labels/appearance, and separate desktop/mobile layouts, with private preview and history-based restore.
  • Publication controls that can hide translated navigation/route artifacts without deleting translations: the plugin can hide translated routes, selector, sitemap entry, and `hreflang` link globally without deleting translations or protected manual edits, and re-enable publication later.
  • URL handling for translated pages uses a stable language prefix rather than slug editing: TranslateSimple does not currently edit translated slugs; it keeps the source path and adds a language prefix (example `/es/source-page/`), and localizes generated/internal links, canonical metadata, `hreflang`, and sitemap around that stable path.
