PLUGIN INFORMATION
What the plugin does
Plugin capabilities
- Verifies social login identity tokens/signatures for supported providers (Google ID token signature verification using Google public keys; validates token audience, issuer, expiry, email verification, and nonce).
- Implements login-request protection using short-lived, HttpOnly state cookies for OAuth/OpenID flows.
- Supports multiple identity providers via OAuth/OpenID Connect, including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft, and Apple (with Apple support including dynamic ES256 client assertions).
- Encrypts provider secrets and Apple private keys at rest using WordPress authentication salts; does not store or require a Google Client Secret (uses Google Identity Services ID-token flow).
- Connects existing WordPress users by verified email and can optionally create new WordPress users when account creation is enabled and the provider email is verified.
- Provides UI placements for social sign-in buttons on standard WordPress login/registration forms and optionally on WooCommerce login and registration forms; also supports a shortcode `[webplatform_social_login]` for custom pages.
- Optionally offers Google One Tap to logged-out visitors; when enabled, loads Google Identity Services JavaScript from `https://accounts.google.com/gsi/client` for logged-out visitors and verifies returned signed identity tokens server-side.
- Supports post-login redirects and optional email-domain restrictions (comma-separated email domains) to limit login to specific organizations/domains.
TRANSLATION BOUNDARY
