PLUGIN INFORMATION

What the plugin does

Plugin capabilities

  • Sends automatic email notifications when an out-of-stock product (or variation) is back in stock.
  • Replaces the WooCommerce “Add to cart” flow with a signup form for out-of-stock products, including variation support (per size/color).
  • Uses an Action Scheduler queue (bundled with WooCommerce) to batch and retry notification emails.
  • Provides a shortcode fallback: `[wt_waitlist product_id="123"]`.
  • Includes an unsubscribe link in the notification email (SHA-256 token).
  • Stores waitlist data locally in the WordPress database and uses custom database tables (`{prefix}_waitlist_subscriptions`).

TRANSLATION BOUNDARY

WT Waitlist capabilities and translatable content are documented separately.

Official documentation describes the plugin functionality, but does not currently identify specific text shown to visitors that can be translated.

A feature is not considered translatable unless it includes text that users can read.
