How to Start with REEID Translate Pro
REEID Translate Pro is designed to help WordPress users translate pages, posts, products and builder content directly inside WordPress. This guide explains the basic starting steps before running your first translation.

Install and activate the plugin
Upload the plugin ZIP in WordPress, activate it, then open the REEID Translate settings page from your WordPress admin area.

Choose your translation mode
Use Local BYOK if you want your OpenAI key to stay on your WordPress site. Use Cloud Assist if you want REEID’s cloud workflow features, including cache reuse.

Set your languages
Select your source language and the target languages you want to use for single or bulk translation workflows.

Start with one test page first.
Before translating many pages, choose one normal page or post and run a single translation. Review the result, check layout, and confirm that the translated version works as expected.
Best first test: a simple Gutenberg page, Classic Editor post, Elementor page, or WooCommerce product with clear content.
Recommended first setup
- Install and activate REEID Translate Pro.
- Enter and validate your license key.
- Select Local BYOK or Cloud Assist mode.
- Add your OpenAI key if using Local BYOK.
- Choose source and target languages.
- Add glossary or prompt guidance if needed.
- Translate one page first and review the result.
Tip: keep your first test small. This makes it easier to verify language quality, layout preservation, translated slug behavior, and editor compatibility.

Use glossary guidance when terms matter
Add important brand names, product names, preferred terms, forbidden translations, or style guidance before translating important content.
Check layout after translation
After translation, review headings, buttons, images, spacing, menus, product fields, and builder-specific sections before publishing widely.
Start small, confirm the result, then scale.
The best way to begin is to translate one page, review the result, adjust your prompt or glossary if needed, and then continue with more pages, products, or languages.
